One Audience
The auditorium was empty.
He was sitting up there, watching.
As the dance started, He was applauding,
as if in approval and enjoyment.
He was watching the show in amusement,
that excitement so evident in Him.
When it was finished,
He said to me; "Good job, my child."
And that was all I can give,
my five loaves and two fishes.
It was everything I had at the moment.
But I know one day, He will make this few I have to become many.
The few that is humble and little,
to the many that can attract and feed people.
And for that reason,
we continue to dance.
Not for the crowd,
but for the One that is sitting there,
watching us always.
